Wood Species

Accoya®

Accoya® wood is an acetylated pine that changes the molecular structure of the wood so it doesn’t absorb moisture. This wood has been used in Europe for the past 80+ years and is rated to be more durable than Teak. Accoya has a warranty of 50 years without a finish and is an excellent choice for historic frames and sash.

Sapele Mahogany

Sapele Mahogany is a very economical hardwood and displays excellent durability.  It is highly resistant to decay and termite attack, making it an excellent wood for exterior windows. It also has a beautiful finish when interior stain is desired.
