The Milwaukee Repertory Theater building was constructed in a Neoclassical Revival-style between 1898 and 1900 in as the Oneida Street Power Plant. The building underwent an $80 million renovation with final completion in 2026.
The building is highlighted by 7 sash, archtop, 20 foot tall openings. Maintaining the historical accuracy while meeting the needs of the theater and renovation designs were particularly difficult. Re-View fabricated historic wood window replicas out of Accoya™ to ensure they would last well into the future and combined them with spandrel glass to hide various interior conditions. Re-View’s field team successfully navigated the installation of the units, helping to restore the building.
