Sauer Castle

Construction of the Sauer Castle was completed in 1873 as a residence for the Sauer Family in the Italianate Architectural Style. New owners acquired the property in 2023 with the intent of restoring it for use as a private event space.

Re-View fabricated new historic wood windows for the project. The building is accented by tall double hung windows where Re-View combined historic profiling and insulated glass units to achieve current day performance while maintaining historical significance.

The Sauer Castle is quickly turning into a gem in the world of historic Kansas City buildings.
